Use your MoYu AI smart cube in the browser

Connect a MoYu WeiLong V10 AI to Sub-X and every solve is reconstructed move by move — cross, F2L, OLL and PLL splits, TPS, and the pauses in between. No app to install.

Supported MoYu cubes

MoYu’s MY32 Bluetooth protocol

  • MoYu WeiLong V10 AI
  • Other MoYu cubes using the MY32 protocol — they advertise over Bluetooth as WCU_MY32_…

If your cube shows up as WCU_MY32 followed by four characters, it will work.

MoYu cubes encrypt their Bluetooth data with a key derived from the cube’s MAC address. Sub-X reads it from the advertisement where the browser allows it, and otherwise asks once and remembers it.

Connecting your MoYu cube

  1. 1

    Pair the cube

Click connect, pick your cube from the browser’s Bluetooth prompt, and confirm the MAC address once if you are asked for it.

  2. 2

    Scramble to the scramble

Sub-X shows a WCA scramble and watches the cube apply it. The solve arms itself the moment the cube’s state matches — no pressing anything.

  3. 3

    Inspect and solve

A 15-second WCA inspection window starts. Your first turn starts the timer, and returning to solved stops it. The reconstruction is saved with the solve.

Needs a browser with Web Bluetooth — Chrome, Edge or Opera on desktop, or Chrome on Android. iPhones and iPads cannot connect a smart cube on the web, because every browser there uses Safari's engine and Safari does not implement Web Bluetooth.

What you get from every solve

Cross, F2L, OLL and PLL splits

Every solve is broken into its four CFOP phases, so you can see where the time actually goes instead of guessing from a single number.

Recognition vs execution

Each phase separates the pause before you move from the turning itself. A slow OLL caused by recognition needs different practice from one caused by execution.

Per-pair F2L

F2L is split again into its four pairs, each with its own recognition, execution and TPS — which is where lookahead problems show up.

TPS, measured not estimated

Turns per second comes from the cube’s own move timestamps, per phase, rather than dividing a move count by your total time.

Your measured bottleneck

After ten smart solves, Sub-X names the phase costing you the most against benchmarks for your speed — and says whether it is a recognition or an execution problem.

Full reconstructions

Every move, in order, with its timestamp. Replay any solve and see exactly what you did.

MoYu smart cube FAQ

Which MoYu cubes work with Sub-X?

Cubes speaking MoYu’s MY32 Bluetooth protocol: MoYu WeiLong V10 AI, Other MoYu cubes using the MY32 protocol — they advertise over Bluetooth as WCU_MY32_…. If your cube shows up as WCU_MY32 followed by four characters, it will work. MoYu cubes encrypt their Bluetooth data with a key derived from the cube’s MAC address. Sub-X reads it from the advertisement where the browser allows it, and otherwise asks once and remembers it.

Do I need to install anything to use a MoYu cube?

No. Sub-X connects over Web Bluetooth directly from the browser. There is nothing to download, and no account is needed to try it.

Which browsers can connect a MoYu cube?

Chrome, Edge and Opera on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS, and Chrome on Android. Safari does not implement Web Bluetooth, and every browser on iOS and iPadOS uses Safari’s engine, so iPhones and iPads cannot connect a cube on the web.

Why does Sub-X ask for my MoYu cube’s MAC address?

MoYu cubes encrypt their Bluetooth data with a key derived from the cube’s MAC address. Browsers only expose it automatically behind an experimental flag, and not once the cube is paired at the operating-system level, so Sub-X asks once and remembers it.
