Finger trick

Method

The part no algorithm sheet can teach you.

Actually, though

Turning with flicks of individual fingers rather than gripping and rotating with the whole hand. Index-finger U turns and thumb F turns are the first ones everyone learns.

The same algorithm can be twice as fast with good fingertricks, which is why cubers argue about which version of an algorithm to learn rather than just counting its moves.

In the wild

themhow do you turn that fast
me*does the thing*
themyes but how
me*does the thing slower*
themthat was not slower
